Major research interests
As a medical doctor and resident in neurology, I am involved in elective and urgent clinical care of patients with neurological diseases. My main interest is the clinical, immunological and MRI follow-up of multiple sclerosis patients. During my medical training I performed a research project on epidemiology and genetics related to clustering of multiple sclerosis and other autoimmune diseases in families. Presently I am on a post-doctoral fellowship assignment in Weiner Lab investigating the immunological aspects of MS, with a major focus on the role of dendritic cells and natural killer cells.
